We’re going to keep looking for ways to get mods to more people, and hopefully one day to our console audience. Follow the steps and it should suggest to install the Creation Kit into your Skyrim Special Edition folder, which is where you want it to be.

Bethesda will also continue supporting existing mod sites such as Skyrim Nexus (which gave us this work of art) with Skyrim Workshop features like the ability to package custom INI into mods, thereby eliminating the need for backup.
The Creation Kit will be supported with a Creation Kit Wiki and full integration with a Skyrim Workshop portal on Steam, giving game tweakers a highly organized way to make, trade, and rank mods with others in the community.
